The brand
Stocked Food is a UK food and drink brand sold on subscription. We took on its Klaviyo programme in November 2025 and inherited two problems: a fragmented, partly archived flow setup from a previous agency, and a subscription platform (Skio) that wasn’t fully connected to the lifecycle programme.
The brief
- no cart or checkout recovery separate from browse behaviour
- no subscription-specific handling for billing failures, cancellations, skips, card expiry or reactivations
- no win-back
- no sunset flow for list hygiene
For a subscription-first food brand, that left the post-purchase and retention stages of the customer journey largely unmanaged. Stocked Food needed the whole journey covered.

What we did
Built the full on-site behavioural set: Welcome (with personalisation and SMS), Browse, Cart and Checkout Abandonment, and Active on Site. Each has a Triple Pixel test variant for incremental optimisation.
- Separated the post-purchase flows for subscribers and one-off purchasers.
- Built out the Skio subscription lifecycle: upcoming billing reminders, failed-billing recovery, first-subscription onboarding, cancellation with win-back attempts, skipped-subscription handling, card expiry alerts and reactivation tagging.
- Added a Winback flow triggered by purchase behaviour and a Sunset flow for list hygiene.
- Expanded the live programme from 13 to 33 flows.

What changed
Stocked Food’s customer journey is now managed from first visit to cancellation. Thirty-three flows cover acquisition, on-site behaviour, purchase, the full subscription lifecycle, win-back and list hygiene. Email and SMS now carry a larger share of the business than before.
